I've only shot it a little bit but it's okay...needs different sights.

Very nice. The Ranch Hand sights, another area that Rossi just needs to suck it up and put the correct height sights on.

Didn't you change your sights Dog? Which ones are you running?

If you are asking Ranch Dog, I don't have a Ranch Hand. I was just making comment on sights as being the #1 problem mentioned with the RH on this forum.

WastelandWrangler wrote:Well I ordered the Bounty Hunter leather combo, from http://gunstockcover.com/ and I have to say I love the look and function of this rig. Lots of different ways to carry this beast of a pistol. My favorite is now the across the chest carry.
It comes with lots of additional leather hanging off it so you can braid it, or bead it out if you choose to. I'm thinking of just cutting the leather ends short and keeping the look simple, but I'm still thinking it over.

Please let me know what you think!

Wrangler,

That is a great looking Ranch Hand you got there! I really like the sights and the sling! My 92 had extraction issues when I first got it. I picked up the DVD and the tune up parts from Steves's Gunz and that helped a lot, but I still had extraction issues. A quick email to Steve and he suggested that I remove a little bit of metal from the extractor, just behind the extractor hook. After I did that, it worked great!
